The new driving test
The practical test will change from 4th of December 2017. It will include following directions from sat nav and some different manoeuvres. If you know you will be taking your test after that date, make sure you know what is required. Ask your instructor, who should be able to explain the changes or, if you are not yet in training, but want to be prepared, keep reading!
There are elements, that stay the same: like the eyesight check or the general ability to drive. There is simply not much to change there.
The rest of the test has been... modernised. Think about it: it makes sense to teach people how to use sat nav correctly, so they can safely get to their destination. With the help of instructors, learners can get used to listening to directions, without getting distracted and constantly looking at the screen of the sat nav device.
